2020 Trends to Know and Shop Right Now

Pip Addison Cairns local fashion stylist gives us the low down on what to start adding to our wardrobe to give it a fresh look for 2020!

Although we live in a warm climate, we often find it difficult to wear some fashion statements (such as knee-high boots!). No, we cannot wear these in the tropics even if it gets down to 23 degrees! Ankle boots are acceptable though. You can still adapt most looks to suit our own personal style and lifestyle. The trick is to add pieces that work back with your current wardrobe, choose colours and pieces that reflect and suit you and your personality. That doesn’t mean you cannot try something different; I just suggest you pair it back with a classic piece, so it doesn’t look overdone. Accessories are also a cheaper option and a great way to experiment in a fashion statement without investing too much money.
