Big bass. Big beats. Big Horns. True Vibenation do everything big. This trio of multi-instrumentalists draw on their African roots to create an irresistible blend of soul and afrobeat, and Cairns; they are ready to show us what makes them the next big act in Australian music.

True Vibenation have been picking up some serious steam, with tours to Africa, Europe and all over Australia playing some of the world’s finest festivals including Glastonbury, Woodford, and the Bushfire Festival in Swaziland. Somehow, they have also made time to hit the studio, make a short film and achieve rotation on Triple J. Their track ‘The World Is Ours’ peaked at #1 on Spotify’s viral chart for the UK and #4 globally.

Raised in the cultural migrant melting pot of Australia, their sound and the trio themselves, have developed a reputation for an electric live show, which features all three artists producing beats and playing horns live on stage. Taking influence in equal parts from Fela Kuti, Hugh Masekela, The Daptone Horns, Outkast, Fat Freddy’s Drop and Rudimental – this will be a crazy fresh show not to be missed!

SUPPORT ACT: Zennith Soundsystem

Local legends Zennith will be bringing their special Soundsystem show as the official support act. All the way from the deep scrub of Bulwai Country in Kuranda, Zennith Soundsystem combines a healthy dose of roots, rock, reggae, and funky hip hop for one serious night of big sounds!
