Let’s Get Festive!

Are you feeling festive? We certainly are! After another year of COVID madness with restrictions, lockdowns, separation from loved ones, we are all geared up to enjoy a well overdue celebration with friends and family and immerse ourselves in all things FNQ as we explore our great region and show our support for our local tourism industry who have done it tough for far too long through this pandemic. We are in holiday STAYcation mode and even though we are yet switch off for the festive season at time of writing this, we are still sipping a sneaky champers with clients and staff in between all the Christmas chaos. In moderation of course! … after the past two years we’ve all had, drinking at work should be official company policy we feel! LOL

We are captivated by our Festive Fever feature and our 2021 Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide! There are gifts from $12 – $500 to provide you with some much needed gift giving inspo, no matter how big or small your budget. We think we can be forgiven for putting our Christmas decorations up early as we got into the festive spirit compiling it all for you. It really is a wonderful time of year once the decorations go up. There’s just something magical about Christmas. We think we’ll trial a November commencement of festivities next year too! Why not?! The rule book was thrown out at the beginning of COVID anyway! And we love the festive vibe that comes with it in the office! Hahahaha

In case you haven’t heard we are also SUPER EXCITED to be the FIRST print publication in Queensland to launch its very own TV, RADIO and PODCAST show! The CityLifeTV show has hit Channel 10, 10PEACH, 10SHAKE and 10BOLD from Cooktown to Cardwell this month and The CityLifeRADIO show can be heard on HitFM and Triple M, while The CityLifePODCAST is now live on Spotify and iTunes and also available in video format on our Facebook, Instagram and YouTUBE platforms for those that prefer to watch the interview as it was recorded. So to say the CityLife Media team has been busy over the past 6 months is an understatement! It has been an extraordinary amount of content creation by the entire team and we can’t wait to hear what you think about our shows and all the wonderful local talent we will be showcasing.
