What’s the name of your business and what do you sell? 

Our business is K&M Creations Cairns.  We are a sibling team and sell homemade polymer clay earrings in all ranges of designs, colours and prices, so there’s something for everyone.  

 

What made you want to start your business? 

We started our business because we don’t have our ears pierced and couldn’t find clip-on earrings to buy locally so we started to make our own and it became our hobby. People commented on how good our earrings are especially being clip on and asked for us to make earrings for them. We homeschool so that gave us time to learn how different clays work etc and did our first stall at a homeschool market and enjoyed it so much we wanted to do more. We now also make hypoallergenic stainless steel fish hook and stud earrings as well as clip-on.  

 

What do you love most about running your own business? 

We enjoy that our business is putting our imagination and creativity into making earrings that bring happiness to our customers. We are currently on FB and will be Instagram soon. 

 

What’s one thing you learned or enjoyed at the KidsLife Expo? 

What we enjoyed about the KidsLife Expo is being given the opportunity to be in the present, meeting lots of interesting people and seeing them have fun, as well as seeing all the different creative stalls there. Thankyou CityLife.
